We understood that the process of extrusion, although fundamental in the manufacturing of plant-based meat, had complexities that hindered its optimal application. That's when the concept of GreenProtein AI emerged: a project designed to leverage AI and machine learning to decode and enhance the extrusion process.

Meet the Project Founder: Noa Weiss
Noa Weiss, a seasoned AI and machine learning expert, has dedicated 13 years to the field, including three as an independent consultant, shaping AI strategies and executing machine learning projects for various companies. Her influence extends to her role on the advisory board of the Modern Agriculture Foundation and her mentorship in the GFI Mentor Program.
Apart from her extensive professional experience, Noa is also known for leading the Israeli community of Women in Data Science, and was recognized as one of the leading women in Israeli FoodTech for 2023. Noa's combination of technical skill and industry insight makes her uniquely poised to lead GreenProtein AI toward transforming the plant-based meat industry.
